Rosehill Ladies Bowls Club - Joining Info

In the first instance it would be best to contact the club secretary who can inform you of everything you will need to know in respect of becoming a Rosehill Ladies bowler.

The fees for 2017 are £157.00 per summer season, which included the use of a locker for personal belongings and bowls equipment. For beginners and those without bowls the club have a small selection available for use. The size and weight of the bowl is fairly important and buying new bowls needs some consideration for those who have not played before.

There are qualified coaches for those who need instruction.

For casual play (Rollups/Practice) the current dress code is greys below the waist and white above. Special flat soled shoes have to be worn although these can be purchased after the first visit as the club will allow flat soled trainers to be worn once by beginners. First visit for a beginner also does not require the dress code already mentioned.

Daytime matches require white both above and below the waist and in some cases a club shirt. Evening matches are usually played in grey below the waist and white above or a club shirt. More information can be obtained from the club secreatry if required.

If you are interested in bowling at Rosehill Bowls Club please give the secretary a ring or send an email.
